Revery is an 8-story residential building on a challenging, tight site with high water table subterranean parking. The site is L-shaped and slopes down away from El Camino Real, such that one of the parking levels is above-grade at the rear of the site. Due to the grade change, the building is split into two parts to stay under 75’ to the highest occupied floor and 85’ type IIIA height limit. The 311 unit building has unique unit plans and utilizes the state density bonus to achieve the density. Amenity and courtyard spaces are on the first level with small lounge spaces on the eighth. Revery is also walkable to BART and Caltrain. The design inspiration is a casual luxury style that represents “The Bay Dream”.
